We revisit Bible stories we heard as children, seeing them through a new lens as adults. The emphasis is on how these ancient stories apply to us today. Rather than focusing on individual, out-of-sequence events, our discussion-style class sessions explore how God worked in the past and how God is still very active in the present time.
Our smaller class size is ideal for believers who prefer a discussion-style class. We are flexible enough that if someone has difficulty grasping a concept or has a tough and/or personal question, we will deviate from the course outline to address the concern. Most members are retirees, but anyone seeking a life application of the Scriptures is welcome. We use the lectionary-based Connections Series as our study guide.
