The Round Table Mission Group

Third Tuesdays at 12:00 P.M. in the Fellowship Hall
Formed in 2002, this group combines gifts for common causes to create a massive impact.
  • A Global Perspective: They have a rich history of supporting our armed forces through "Adopt a Platoon," funding scholarships in Belize, and contributing to relief efforts in Ukraine.
  • Community Roots: They regularly support NeighborUp (formerly Western Wake Crisis Center), Union Mission, and the Cary Police Department’s White Christmas event.

Join Them: They meet on the third Tuesday of each month (September–May) at 10:00 AM in the Fellowship Hall for prayer and fellowship. Contact Sarah Balkcum, use the button below to sign up, or just come to the next meeting!

The Current Mission Group

Fourth Tuesdays at 10:00 A.M. in the Fellowship Hall
The Current Mission Group is a testament to the power of "helping wherever we can." Their reach extends from our own hallways to international relief:
  • Local Impact: Constant support for the Dorcas food pantry and helping refresh our own space by cleaning Fellowship Hall chairs and funding paint for the children's area.
  • Ongoing Projects: In April, they are collecting paper products for the McNeill Cottage in Emerald Isle.
  • Crisis & Community: From hygiene bags for state fair workers to supporting Hurricane Helene relief through Baptist Men, this group remains ready to respond to any need.

Join Them: They meet on the fourth Tuesday of each month (September–May) at 10:00 AM in the Fellowship Hall for prayer and fellowship. Contact Lynn Bright, use the button below to sign up, or just come to the next meeting!

The Noon Missions Group

Fourth Tuesdays at 12:00 P.M. in the Fellowship Hall
Started in 2005 by Gloria Allard, this group continues to identify specific, life-changing needs:
  • Empowering Mothers: They are providing $1,300 again this year to Caring Connections to help new mothers learn the essential life skills needed to support their families.
  • Global Connections: Recently, they hosted missionaries "T" and Cathy Thomas, and are planning to support a church for the Roma people in Romania.
  • Campus Care: Look for a "new look" in the Great Hall this spring! The group is working with local experts to re-upholster the seating, continuing their tradition of loving our church campus.

Join Them: They meet on the fourth Tuesday of each month (September–May) at 12:00 PM in the Fellowship Hall for prayer and fellowship. Contact Gerry Shearin, use the button below to sign up, or just come to the next meeting!
